ICON is a practical outreach of our Orthodox Christian faith, bringing together professionals, volunteers, clergy, and donors to bring God's message of healing and love by providing God-centered resources to help overcome life's challenges.

We work in constant remembrance that through Divine Grace, those we serve and those who provide the service are made in God's image and through His mercy and grace have the ability to live out His love and grace in their own lives.

Our first priority is to those challenges that are unique to Orthodox Christians. Our second priority is to reach beyond ourselves to serve the needs of any who would come to us for healing.

Inter-Orthodox
Coming together as Orthodox Christians, we are responding to the need for Social Services organizations that help both clients and service providers become more deeply involved in the Orthodox Christian faith.

Community
Our faith is relational, with God and with each other. Where one person in our community suffers we all suffer, as brothers and sisters in Christ. Unlike the isolating individualism of modern culture, we pursue growth as members of His Body. We bear a responsibility to our communities to develop social service care grounded in our faith that supports our shared life.

Outreach
Reaching out to address those needs unique to Orthodox Christians and to look beyond ourselves to serve our neighbors, we provide practical help at multiple levels:

1. In depth, individual and small group professional services
2. Parish and Community focused workshops
3. Web and print based resources.

Network
We are developing a network of professionals, volunteers, clergy, and donors to provide God-centered (theocentric) social service care to help our neighbors overcome life's challenges.
